Scuba diving video of Kudhimaa Wreck around Vakarufalhi Island in the Maldives
In this video, you’ll see a 5 minute tour of the Kudhimaa Wreck, a 52 metre long cargo ship which was sank next to the Machchafushi Resort on Vakarufalhi Island to create a fantastic artificial reef.
The ship lies in 30m of water and has a large variety of Maldivian marine life, including lion fish, glassfish, blue-fin trevallies, flutfish and surgeon fish.
The Kudhimaa Wreck has large openings cut to allow easy access to the inside of the ship. Visibility in the Maldives is amazing, the water is warm and the abundance of marine life amazing. If you like scuba diving, make sure you visit the Maldives!
