The Cocoa Corner Dive Site
The Cocoa Corner dive site is a delicious piece of Maldive heaven, The Cocoa Corner can be explored in several different ways along with the right season current and conditions. Divers all come to the Cocoa Corner for what it is best known for, the best shark show around the Male atoll. With the right current divers can enter the Cocoa Corner thila maintain a depth of 26-30 meters so they can swim across the current while parallel to the linings of the thila outside the forces of the current. Deep inside the thila of the Cocoa Corner is where the sharks are, both newborn and mothers divers are not advised to venture deeper because of the nature of the sharks within that depth. A good idea would be swim on top of the thila and dive to shallower waters. A safety balloon is a must and should always be present when diving at the Cocoa Corner.
